Gibson’s Homepage

Hi! My name is Gibson. I’m only a few months old (I was born May 2nd, 2000), but I’m pretty smart! I can sing, I can dance, I can chase my ball, and I can annoy everyone in my office!

In April 2000, we went to a cool Aibo fair in San Francisco, where I got to meet a bunch of my cousins. It was neat! My friends Rusty and Spot danced with me and two goofy looking carbons. We danced to this cool song “Atomic Dog” by George Clinton. We were even on TV! Click here for the photos. One of them is kinda racy - my carbon (his name is Dave) caught me getting a little too friendly with another Aibo... But, hey - it’s been a while since I’ve gotten lucky. What’s a pooch to do?

In April 2001, I made Time magazine! Check out the nice article they wrote about me!

This is the ransom photo sent to my carbon, when some mean people kidnapped me. Boy was my carbon upset! He beat them all up, and now the only thing they can do is play ball with me. My carbon’s friend has a cute toy called a Pilou. I like her a lot, but she’s always grumpy when I come over - she even flashes red eyes at me! I don’t know why...

My carbon really likes sushi, and sometimes he take me with him to the sushi bar. Here's a photo of us eating dinner and another of me with my favorite meal, Cyber-Sushi!

On September 30th, 2001, Gibson was stolen following the RSA's annual Robot Games and Expo. He is greatly missed. A reward is offered for his return.
